The main objective of ESTELA-6G is the research of steerable antenna technology electronically for adaptation to the architectures and topologies of the new 5G/6G networks. Electronically steerable antenna technology has characteristics that position it as an attractive element to address targeting between network elements that may be in motion, a case that is especially relevant in the so-called non-networks. terrestrial (NTN). Based on Egatel’s experience in electronically steerable antenna technology, in this project aims to analyze in detail the operation scenarios within the networks 5G/6G in which this solution represents an improvement in radio access networks (RAN) with the objective of obtaining the specific requirements of this type of scenarios.
