EGATEL takes part in “IV Seminar on Security, Defense, Computational and Mathematics Technologies” which will be held on the 3rd and 4th November at the IT and Communications Research Center (CITIC) in A Coruña.
Manuel Pozo Fariñas, R&D Project Manager at Egatel, has been invited to the event and will participate as speaker both days. The first day (3rd of November), from 16:00 to 16:30, he will talk about “Alternative and Secure ways of Communications in harsh environments”.
The second day (4th of November), from 13:00 to 13:5, he will participate in a round-table about “ICTs, Mathematics and computing within the ambit of cybersecurity”, which will also involve:
– Mrs. Eduvigis Ortiz Moronta, Global Alliances & Innovation Director Cibersecurity PROSEGUER.
– Mr. Javier Parapar López, Principal Researcher in Search and retrieval of information area, CITIC.
– Mrs. Peregrina Quintela Estévez, ITMATI Director/ Professor in Applied Mathematics, USC.
– Moderator: D. Federico Aznar Fernández-Montesinos, Senior Analyst at the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies.
The event, organized by the Centre of Studies for National Defence (CESEDEN), CITIC and ITMATI, m2nica Group and UDC ( University of La Coruña ) with the collaboration of Interdisciplinary Mathematics Institute (IMI) from UCM, seeking to move closer to the computational and mathematics technology within the ambit of Defence and Safety.
