Egatel thus consolidates its presence in the Scandinavian region, and through this contract begins its expansion to the Baltic republics. Telecentras , as a Lithuanian state operator, maintains the main television and radio program transmission networks in that country. The object of the equipment supply contract will involve the deployment in the main Lithuanian cities of Egatel Series TUWH4600 equipment from 600W, 1.2KW and up to 2.4KW. It also involves commissioning and training at the client site.
Egatel’s latest advances in efficient transmission with the already recognized WHET Series – Wideband High Efficiency Transmitters – have ushered in a new generation of UHF solutions. Egatel’s UHF transmitters offer excellent energy efficiency , a very compact design and flexible configurations to fit any network topology. To comply with current TV transmission standards, Egatel TV transmitters support all existing digital standards such as DVB-T, DVB-H, DVB-T2, ATSC or ISDB-TB.
The new series of high-efficiency TUWH4000 transmitters uses wideband asymmetric Doherty architecture, allowing, with a single amplifier model, to cover the entire UHF band (470 to 700MHz). So it is no longer necessary to make modifications or adjustments to the amplifiers when changing the RF channel within the UHF band. TUWH4000 transmitters feature market leading energy efficiency. They offer a yield of up to 45%, which translates into an immediate economic benefit for operators.
The extremely compact and customer-oriented design gives full flexibility and multiple configurations per rack, saving a lot of space in the transmitter center. The agile configuration of the transmitter and the power of the Web Server ensure easy and intuitive operation and fast start-up.
